I got a Broadway Christmas album and this was on it...I thought it was too cute not to post. And if I wait until December, I will probably forget.

And it is green with blue stripes. I wish I could have a cat like that. Raisin says that it is a Solstice Cat. I believe her because she knows a lot of things for a kid.

He does not have whiskers because I always draw those badly.

Me and mom went to town today. I needed to go to the fabric store and mom needed to go to the doctor for the baby and so she took me with her and I went to the fabric store while she went to the doctor.

I got fabric with rainbow dogs on it and fabric with stripes on it and a couple of patterns because sometimes it is hard to get shapes right.

The doctor told mom that the baby was fine except that there was two of them. She didn't say if they are boys or girls or both but at least one of them had better be a girl, that's all I have to say.

I got to level 44 in the rice game yesterday. I'm very proud.

I have to go feed the goats now and Greta is biting my toes so I guess I'd better feed the cats too.

I want to get to 4000 before I get thrown off the computer.

Mom and Dad talked to us and nobody is going to be adopted. That's good news, I guess. At least it means that I don't have to get used to a new family.

It turns out that instead of being adopted that some of us are going to school! Mom says that she is too old to have to take care of a baby and teach seven kids and that the older ones have learned enough to not be corrupted by the school system. I hope so because I don't want to be corrupted. I will be going and so will Marigold and Pinecone. Mom says they will watch out for me and Pinecone says he will put me in a locker. So we will see what happens.

We have to have tests to see what classes we have to take and we have to have shots(!) and those things scare me. I am not good at tests or at having sharp things stuck in me.

I wonder if there will be Greasers there like in the Outsiders. That's the only high school book I can think of. Should Greasers be capitalized? I don't remember.

There is not enough room in the bed for all of us but they still try. It makes Landscape very cranky.

This is the self-portrait that I drew today for class. I couldn't color the face in because Landscape used up the crayon. Also, I got the eyes crooked, but I didn't notice until I drew over them with the marker.

Mom says that she and Dad have something that they need to talk about with us kids. None of us know what it is, but Pinecone says that they're going to put me up for adoption when the new baby comes. I don't think that's very funny, but he thinks it's hilarious and needs to tell me about it like every fifteen minutes. I hope he isn't right because I'd never hear the end of it. At least, until I was adopted, anyway. Do people adopt teenagers? It seems to me that they would want to adopt a baby instead so that they could start fresh. Maybe Mom and Dad are going to put the baby up for adoption instead of me. I kind of hope so because I do not like washing diapers and it seems like I will never get my own bed.

I wonder if I can sleep outside all summer. I'd like that.
